Security & Data Retention
We convert your bank statements into accounting journals. We do not keep them.
Your bank statements are not stored permanently
Every file you upload is on a deletion schedule from the moment it arrives. Nothing below is optional or configurable per request — it runs automatically.
What is deleted, and when
| Original bank file | Deleted 7 days after conversion |
| Transaction details | Deleted 30 days after conversion |
| Conversion result (XLSX) | Kept for 90 days, then deleted |
| Website download | Open for 30 days after conversion |
Email delivery
Because we delete your files, we send the conversion result to you by email as an attachment. That attachment then lives in your mailbox and ours, and with the email providers in between. We cannot delete it for you — email is outside our retention controls. Please keep that email; after the download window closes it is your copy.
No AI is used
Account codes are decided by deterministic rules and by your own confirmations — never by an AI model. Your data is never used to train any model, ours or anyone else's.
What we do keep
Wallet ledger entries, payment records and audit logs are kept permanently. These are financial records with statutory retention requirements (generally seven years in Malaysia) and they cannot be deleted — the database itself refuses it. They contain amounts and timestamps, not your bank statements.
Data deletion requests
For anything beyond the automatic schedule above, contact us. Note that financial records under statutory retention cannot be removed on request; that part needs to be settled with your accountant.
